Oh, the Madness!

Blind Man Fancy's Official Final Four Picks: Memphis, wait...I don't care about anyone else. T-I-G-E-R-S, Tigers!

But for the sake of the madness I've chosen the three local teams from all the places I've lived (Xavier, Louisville, Memphis) and one lock (Kansas). UT-Austin could be included except they're in Memphis's region and Tigers always beat Longhorns. It's the law of the jungle. Baylor could also be included (we're equidistant from Waco and Austin), but they're in Xavier's region and seriously...Baylor?

Where is the love for your former state Tennessee?

(Oh, are you still sore about that game in February?)

(Or is it because of our normal flop in the SEC tournament?)

Got two words for the Vols: Fa-luke.

What many don't know about the February game is that the Tigers had stayed up all night the previous night praying and fasting. They simply had more important concerns than a silly basketball game they could afford to lose.

Championship: North Carolina 73, Memphis 70.

Honorable Mention: Ohio State :)

Beej, I wish you were here this week in KC. I'm headed to some men's NAIA div. 1 games downtown KC on Thursday. I'll think of you when I'm eating nachos.

Man, do I wish I was there, too. Perhaps you'll get to you know what next to you know who. Those were the days, my friend. I wonder if James Worthy remembers it as well as I do.

Slop a little extra cheese on for me.

So I skipped the nachos because they were $4.50 for about three chips, 1 jalapeno, and an equal amount of cheese. Instead, I went out into the city and found a burrito ($6!!! But it was huge).

As I told you, Lambuth is loaded with athletes, but they play terrible help defense. The best team I saw was Lee University, and I also saw a coach that has over 900 wins (he has the most on any collegiate level, I believe)--McKendree U. I think. They play within a great system.

Somehow after day one of the NCAA, Patty and I are tied (we both missed two games). Go figure. Actually, I'm surprised I'm still in it. I thought Duke was going down, and that would have hurt Patty because she's got them in the final 4. Please give us an update about your picks!
